Awesome necklace! This is 2,5 in diameter on a 17" chain. "I call it "Gears of redemption", sounds cool. It's made of:

Watch parts, gears, stampings, crystals.
I think it's prett sick lookin.

Steampunk jewelry:

This is a hand crafted one of a kind piece that I made.
I did a couple of these and will be making more, they consist of things like:

Vintage and modern stampings, watch parts and gears, chains crystals and some acrylics

I had fun making these because I love the industrial feel of steampunk and it’s refreshing to me to think of a time and place that never existed but, likely could have. Heck, it might have been better if it did. =)

Interesting level of complexity. I like the addition of the bird, I think it's what really makes the piece into something more than an assemblage of gears and findings.

Yes, I do agree. I kinda hate to say it but, a great deal of what I see out there looks like someone took and slapped on stuff like a small child with glue and glitter. There is some nice stuff out there but, it seems rare to find. I don't claim to be anything spectacular but, at least I care about what i am creating and take the time to try and do something that is pleasing to myself and hopefully a good representation of myself through my art. I'm nothing spectacular or anything like that so please don't misinterpreted but, i do believe that you should put yourself into what you are creating. Thnx again for your comment. =)

You talkin about the stuff back in High school? LOL! Yeah, I get a chance every once in a while to still do jewelry. It's cool to see what I can come up with and mix it with Liz's themes and ideas and sometimes I just start something new and she runs with it. =)
